Halibut Who?
When is a man a woman? When is a woman a fish? What can we be sure about? Nothing...but change. The seas are full of change - and fish. But a fish with a moustache? That is something to be seen!
Live music, magic, puppets, a disappearing cloak and some very fast acting create this story about identity, metamorphosis and deception. When is something not what it seems? How can a moustache be anything other than what it is? And does it matter?
Two women and a puppet booth tell the story of The Case of the Disappearing Identity. This is vibrantly physical theatre at its best.
With 50 years (that is half a century!) of performing experience between them, Hilary and Amanda have been working together on and off for fifteen years. In 1992 they came together to work on a Greater London Arts funded show by Skin and Blisters “Prince? What prince?” which toured Arts Centres and theatres in London and the metropolitan area. Their most recent show “Fish-heads’ toured around Europe in 2006 - a street show on a tandem with fish heads and some pretty melodies.
We also offer workshops: clowning, physical theatre, acrobatics, mask, yoga & rebel clowning
